Honor Societies

National Honor Society for High School and National Junior Honor Society for Middle School are great opportunities for Scholars’ to connect more with their school community and do community service. Students can join the Honor Society but must meet certain requirements.

National Junior Honor Society Requirements:

You must have a 90+ average for every term from 6th-7th grade
Maintain a 90+ average in 8th grade.
Show qualities of CHARGE (Cooperation, Hard work, Amiability, Respect & Resilience, Grit & Growth mindset, and Equity & Empathy)
You cannot have any suspensions, no more than 5 occurrences including infractions against Citywide Behavioral Expectations and N or U on your report card
Must have 12 hours of community service
No more than 8 latenesses
No more than 8 unexcused absences
Old documents or notes excusing absences and latenesses will not be accepted.

Have a 90+ average for every term in 9th grade
Maintain a 90+ average from 10h-12th grade once you join
